Bolder Boulder, CO - 2010 & 2011
This was the second year that Team Alpha entered the Bolder Boulder 10K run to support Alpha in the Colorado region. The event typically attracts over 50,000 participants, with thousands of spectators, so this is also a wonderful way to raise the visibility of the Alpha course in the region.
In 2010 the Garrigo family participated together and found that the race was a great lesson on how to promote Alpha without being intrusive. They had a great day of fun and unity as a family.

The Garrigo Family
Last year there were opportunities to share with others about the Alpha course. Someone out of the loudspeaker asked Alba, “Is there more to life than the Bolder Boulder?”
And she screamed back, “Of course there is! Take the Alpha course and you’ll find out!"
This year we were given other opportunities. Before the race started a gentleman came and asked José, "Can you tell me what I need to do to explore the meaning of life?"
As they were reaching the finish line, a girl from one of the speakers shouted, "Go, Alpha, Go!"
Although the team found it hard to run uphill and in the high altitude of Colorado, they all made it to the stadium and plan to improve their times next year. They plan to encourage a larger team next year to increase awareness of the Alpha course and to raise support (this year the team raised $1,200) to run Alpha in more places in Colorado - all to the glory of Jesus!
