 Meet Brad Jeffery! He is a Team Alpha Participant and competed in the Boston Marathon on April 19. He is also running in the Chicago Marathon in November. Find out why he's decided to get involved and support Team Alpha.
“So, what am I running for? On the personal side, my running represents the overcoming of all my challenges through my dependency on our Lord to provide strength in my weakness. From a mission side, I’m running to raise awareness and funds for an organization that was the catalyst for bringing me back to the Lord.
Alpha gives people the opportunity to explore the Christian faith in the workplace or the church. It is a blessing to see so many people whose lives have been transformed by the power of Jesus Christ through the Alpha course.
A verse that sustains me through running and my life is: 2 Corinthians 12: 10 “That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
