Step 1:  Pray

Prayerfully consider how God might use a team from your church.

Step 2:  Plan

• Stir interest within your church or organization
• Recruit your team
• Determine location for your GAT. 

Step 3:  Register

All GAT teams must register their GAT events on-line. It is simple and easy!

Step 4:  Training

Each member of the team must attend a GAT Team Training (no matter how many GAT events they may have participated in).

Training for your team can be provided in a number of ways. Most often a GAT trainer will meet with your team for one full day of training. There are various trainings offered regionaly throughout the year.

Step 5:  Prepare

All the preparation you need to do will be outlined in the team training.  Preparation includes making your travel arrangements, fundraising, practicing your talks, and coordination with the team hosting the event in-country. 

Step 6:  Ready, set, Go!

Matthew 28:19 - "Go forth and make disciples of all nations..."

Step 7: Share!

After your GAT team returns home from their trip, please complete a GAT Event feedback form and send it to us at gat@alphausa.org. The feedback form can also be found in the GAT Team Manual you receive when trained.

Additionally, please send us any testimonies, photos or video footage you may have captured so we can share your team's experience as an encouragement to others.

We would encourage your GAT team to keep in contact with the Local Team in case you decide to carry out further trips to the same country or continue giving prayer support.
