One person who brought three guests to the introductory dinner said that her car magnet was the only reason she had the discussion with those three about Alpha. The promotion works!

I have appreciated the "big picture" campaign. We are a very small community and do not have access to big resources. This was helpful.

We've had contact from 8 people who we wouldn't have met apart from the wider Alpha Invitation. Wonderful!

I was a little apprehensive initially, but the Alpha Invitation resulted in a 150% increase in attendance at our Fall Alpha course. We have run Alpha for 6 years and normally get about 24 guests. This year we had 60 - that was a direct result of the increased publicity, a dedicated (all
Alpha) Sunday service, prayer by the church as a whole and regular Wednesday evening intercessory prayer meetings led by our Pastor. The prayer by the regional Twin Cities Alpha team was instrumental and networking across church lines and denominations also helped. The thing that struck me was how excited people became and how much more willing they were to invite people...They felt that they weren't alone. Alpha Coordinator - Summit Church, St. Paul, MN.

We had 5 people come to know Jesus.

The Invitation made Alpha more popular in everyone's perception; outsiders as well as church goers. Smoothed the way for acceptance of Alpha as an important piece of our evangelism strategy.

Numeric growth in every course that has begun so far compared to last fall.  For example, one church promoted Alpha like course that has begun so far compared to last fall.  For example, one church promoted Alpha like never before and they saw 175 guests their first week up from 80 last fall, a dramatic shift younger in their median age, and 35 students at their teen Alpha. Kirk Petersen

Nearly everyone came because of a personal invitation; however, the publicity raised peoples' awareness of Alpha and made coming a lot easiser.

The Invitation draws churches together, and draws new churches in. It also helped us talk more actively about it in church and raise the awareness of our members as to its importance. Prayer among the churches increased as well.
