Benefits of a Local Alpha Office
Contributions to Alpha USA/ Twin Cities
Alpha USA/ Twin Cities is one of over 50 regional offices of Alpha USA. Each regional office is an extension of the work and ministry of Alpha USA in that local area. Each office employs a Regional Director and is responsible for raising the funds necessary to operate its local ministry.
Individuals
Your financial support is very important to our Kingdom-building mission. Each contribution you make will help start new Alpha courses in the Twin Cities region and support and strengthen existing courses, which in turn, will extend the Kingdom of God into the lives of individuals who are hungry and yearning for the transforming power of Jesus Christ!

All contributions to Alpha USA/ Twin Cities go directly to support the Alpha ministry in the Twin Cities region. You may designate all or part of your contributions to another part of the wider Alpha ministry, if you desire. For example, you can designate contributions to Prison Alpha, Campus Alpha, The Marriage Course, etc. All gifts to Alpha are tax deductible.
Alpha USA is a tax-exempt 501-C (3) charitable organization.
Churches
Alpha works primarily through the local church to accomplish its mission. So we value the partnership that we share with local churches and rely upon annual contributions from churches to support 25--35% of our budget.

Benefits of a local Alpha Office
The unique role that each regional office provides for the local churches and pastors is:
- To support and resource the outreach ministry of the local church as it extends the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire local region
- To support the local Alpha courses that are running in churches, homes, coffee shops, workplaces and organizations
- To develop new Alpha courses in the region, and assist churches in starting new courses
- To provide regional training for course leaders and pastors
- To develop and facilitate regional evangelism strategies, including the annaul “Alpha Invitation”, to penetrate every segment of the local region with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Each regional office and director serves the churches and organizations in its area by establishing personal relationships with the pastors, Alpha practitioners and leaders. The close proximity of each office and its director to its community enables Alpha USA to provide face-to-face contact with Alpha churches, pastors and leaders, personalized support in running optimal Alpha courses, regional training events that are contextualized for its community, and local networking and resourcing connections between churches, pastors and leaders .
The national Alpha USA office, in turn, provides each regional office with the HR support, database and software programming, administrative and development services, publications, and resource infrastructure needed to support the thousands of Alpha courses that are currently operating in the USA throughout every region. |
