Past Alpha Invitation Stories
The Alpha Invitation began as a national poster campaign in the UK in 1998. Other countries that have run an Invitation on a national scale include New Zealand, Canada, and the Netherlands.
2011 and 2012: In 120 areas across the country over 1000 churches participated each year. Find out more >>
2010: Fifty four Alpha Invitations ran in 537 cities with 979 churches working together.
2009: Thirty Alpha Invitations ran in 316 cities with 563 churches working together.
2008: Three Alpha Invitations: Illinois (Lake County and Chicago's West Suburbs), and Washington (Tri-Cities).
2007: One Alpha Invitation in Lake County, Illinois. God blessed the initiative as new courses started, faith was stirred and Christians were motivated to invite their community to the Introductory Alpha dinner.
