Training in Pueblo Kicks Off the new Year

New Hope Family Church in Pueblo hosted a Getting Started Training on January 7th for its church members and several other churches and organizations in the area.  Training delegates learned about the Principles and Practicalities of Alpha, how to conduct small groups and pastoral care, as well as ministry on Alpha.  Prayer and worship were scattered throughout the training, and the Holy Spirit's presence was evident throughout the day.  Delegates left refreshed and excited about considering the Alpha Course as an effective tool for equipping their local congregations for the work of evangelism.

Pastor Steve Cornella started New Hope Family Church as a church-plant in the Pueblo area, with a desire to reach his neigborhood and city with the Good News of Jesus.  They run Alpha Courses 2 times a year, and are seeing people come to faith in Christ!  They not only run high-quality Courses, but also "give Alpha away" to other churches in the community who are interested in running the Course.
