Adding Live talks to our course
We want to start to add a few live talks to our course, are there things we should be aware of?
Many courses start running Alpha using the DVD's. This has many advantages, including the fact that no one has to prepare the talks and the quality of Nicky' presentation has a very strong track record. But at some point, you may want to begin to give a few of the talks live. The advantages to live talks is you can add more personal touch as well as an environment to develop gifted speakers in your church.
We have created a whole new section on the Alpha USA website and call it "Alpha Live". It is designed to assist churches that are wanting to do the Alpha talks live. In fact, all the talk outlines are available and other helpful suggestions for doing the talks live.
