'Man Vs. Wild' Star Set to Lead Crusade in Orlando This Fall
Followers of the Discovery Channel reality program "Man vs. Wild" are used to seeing the show's star, Bear Grylls, taking on the elements in some of the toughest places on earth. This fall, fans will have a rare opportunity to see Grylls in person when he travels to Central Florida to take on some of the toughest questions life has to offer.
Grylls will speak during a citywide evangelistic crusade the evening of October 21 in a multi media - high energy event. The event is free and groups are welcome. Joining him will be Nicky Gumbel, leader of Alpha International and senior pastor of London's Holy Trinity Brompton, and Christian songwriter and worship leader Brenton Brown.
Alpha has just released a new three-minute commercial starring Grylls. In the action-packed ad, Grylls is stranded on a desert island and is desperately trying to catch the attention of a helicopter passing overhead. "When you get a chance to be saved, you gotta grab it," declares Grylls before dashing off into the jungle. See the Ad here
