Become a Prayer Post  
- A Light for your community!
OUR MISSION: To build a network of empowering prayer coverage for the people and Alpha courses (leadership teams, guests, retreats, event, resources) in the Twin Cities area and the surrounding region.
OUR GOAL: To have a minimum of 3 prayer intercessors per suburb, city or town. Preferably, intercessors will cover the area where they live.
WHAT QUALIFIES YOU?
- Being a follower of Christ Jesus
- A heart for people, a heart for Alpha
AS A PRAYER POST, WHAT IS YOUR COMMITMENT?
To pray every week for:
Specifically: the people and the Alpha's in your town/suburb/city
In General: the people and Alpha's in the Twin Cities' area and across the region.
You do not have to attend any meetings. You decide how often you pray each week. And if you no longer feel led to cover your post, that's okay. You just need to let us know, because we want to know that every post is an active post.
WHAT WILL YOU RECEIVE FROM US?
- Prayer Request Emails. These will be a quick read - short & concise. You are not required to cover every one; pray as led. We believe we will cover all of them as a team. Prayer Picture Emails. Melanie has been led by the Lord to draw a variety "Prayer Pictures." She will send them to you with no words, no instructions. She sees these as prayer encouragement. As you look at each picture, she believes the Holy Spirit will guide you in prayer. (See the picture at the top of this article as an example.)
- Praise Report Emails. This 1-page, quick read will contain feedback on answered prayer and other exciting news.
- Invitations. Invitations to regional Alpha events.
- If someone does not have internet access... we can arrange to contact them by mail.

Pray with us…
- For the wider use of Alpha across our region so that more people’s lives will be transformed into Jesus Christ.
- For all of the Alpha courses running in churches from numerous denominations across our region... all embracing the essentials and uniting for one purpose... clearly sharing the essential truths of faith in Christ;
- For the re-energizing of any Alpha course that was offered once or twice and dropped; for eyes to see that there are hundreds of people all around that course needing to see and hear about God’s love;
- For generosity to spring from all of our Alpha churches so that each would share in the wider cause of Alpha in the Twin Cities region and around the world.
